The beautiful lines of the Young 20 not only give it an attractive appearance - each serve a specific function in the performance and ride of our boats. The graceful curvature of the sheer line, which is the signature of our hull design, acts as a built-in hull stiffener and creates high cockpit sides. Full wide chines are reversed to knock down spray directing it away from the hull. A set of deep running strakes provides lift and control. The well-balanced hull requires little to no trim and jumps on a plane quickly. The V-bottom has a very sharp entry that easily slices through a chop, while its wide 8' beam gives the hull remarkable side-to-side stability and shallow draft.
